Abstract
This article explores the concept of peace history through the analysis of peace advocacy in American history. The article touches upon influential antiwar movements for wars including World War I and the Vietnam World, as well as discussion of leaders in this field, including Randolph Bourne, Howard Kester and Jane Addams. Topics include the Civil rights movement, labor organization, and foreign policy.
