Abstract
European farmers are becoming increasingly frustrated with the European Union's decision to extend free trade measures with Ukraine, allowing Ukraine to continue selling wheat in the EU. Farmers in countries like Poland and France are concerned about the influx of Ukrainian grains, which they believe is causing unfair competition due to lower labor costs and less stringent environmental checks. The anger among farmers presents a challenge for European politicians as they balance domestic priorities with support for Ukraine against Russia's invasion. The EU is working to address the concerns of farmers, but tensions remain high. [Extracted from the article]
