Abstract
This article focuses on the Soho Dukes, a rock band known for their steampunk-inspired image and storytelling style, aiming to revive fun in rock’n’roll. Frontman Johnny Barracuda and bassist Bomber, childhood friends with a shared history in music dating back to 1987, lead the band whose sound draws on influences like Heavy Metal Kids, Small Faces, and Ian Dury while maintaining original songwriting. Their third album, *Nighthawks, Acrobats And Everything Under The Moon*, features collaborations with notable musicians Spike (of the Quireboys) and Dave ‘Bucket’ Colwell (of Bad Company), and addresses themes ranging from social satire to personal relationships. The band emphasizes entertainment and authenticity in their music, released through Duchess Records. [Extracted from the article]
