Abstract

This article discusses the presence of white supremacy and other ideologies in children's literature and media materials for youth. The author highlights the work of scholars who have pointed out how children's literature has been used to challenge white supremacist messages and promote critical race theory. The article also examines specific examples, such as Israeli search-and-find books and nineteenth-century card games, that embed ideologies and reinforce white racial dominance.
