Abstract
The article focuses on the representation of zombies in children's literature and how these figures serve distinct purposes across age groups. Topics include the categorization of zombie portrayals in picture books, middle-grade, and young adult fiction; the symbolic role of zombies as reflections of youth experiences; and their commentary on the emotional and social challenges faced by young readers.
