Abstract
A recent study conducted by the University of Pavol Jozef Safarik in Slovakia examined the parenting behavior of mothers from marginalized Roma communities compared to the majority population in Slovakia. The research found that parenting in marginalized communities was often harsher and less stimulating than in the majority population, which may be attributed to socioeconomic disadvantage. The study suggests that poverty partially explains the differences in parenting behavior and highlights the need for intervention efforts to support disadvantaged families. This research provides insights into the challenges faced by marginalized communities and may inform future interventions. [Extracted from the article]
