Tokyo Disney Taps 'Frozen' and Peter Pan in $2 Billion Expansion.

Tokyo Disney Resort is set to open a new section called Fantasy Springs, which is a $2 billion expansion at Tokyo DisneySea. The expansion is based on popular franchises such as Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan. The operator of the resort, Oriental Land, expects the expansion to increase annual sales by 75 billion yen and attract 29 million visitors, including 4 million from abroad. The Japanese amusement and theme park industry is also recovering, with visitor numbers returning to pre-Covid levels.
