Abstract

This article explores the concept of the "echoverse," a complex communication landscape that includes various actors such as consumers, brands, news media, investors, communities, society, and artificial intelligence agents. It emphasizes the omnidirectional nature of communication in the echoverse, where messages flow in all directions and roles are blurred. The article proposes echoverse marketing as a new marketing communication framework that involves an assemblage of actors contributing to and echoing each other's actions. It discusses different marketing communication strategies and highlights the importance of co-creation, continuous learning, and collaboration in the echoverse. The use of AI in marketing is also examined, along with its benefits and challenges. Marketing managers are advised to have a clear brand strategy, curate learning opportunities, foster collaboration, and participate in co-creating resources with the echoverse.
