Abstract
The article discusses research on the effectiveness of a virtual reality (VR) program designed to teach fractions to elementary students with learning disabilities. Conducted in Burdur, Turkiye, the study involved third- and fourth-grade students, with one group receiving VR-supported instruction and the other following a standard curriculum. Results indicated that the experimental group showed significant improvement in learning outcomes, particularly in visual tasks, and reported increased motivation and engagement. The research suggests that VR may be a promising tool for enhancing both cognitive and emotional aspects of learning fractions among students with learning disabilities. [Extracted from the article]
