Abstract

The article focuses on the development of Quantum Tic Tac Toe, a Python-based desktop application that reimagines the classic Tic Tac Toe game by incorporating quantum mechanics concepts such as superposition, entanglement, and state collapse. Using the Kivy framework for its graphical user interface, the game allows players to place entangled moves existing in multiple states simultaneously, with automatic cycle detection triggering collapses that resolve these quantum states into classical outcomes. The system architecture includes modules for move handling, entanglement logic, cycle detection, and user interaction, providing an educational and interactive platform to visualize quantum phenomena through gameplay. The project demonstrates successful integration of quantum-inspired logic with game design, offering features like theme switching, win tracking, and responsive UI, and suggests future enhancements including mobile app development, multiplayer support, AI opponents, and incorporation of quantum randomness.
