Abstract

This paper systematically reviews the development context of ancient Chinese mathematical thought and explores its modern educational value. Research shows that ancient Chinese mathematics, with practicality and algorithmizing at its core, formed a unique theoretical system and cultural tradition. These ideas have essential inspirations for modern mathematics education, including cultivating students' algorithmic thinking, strengthening the awareness of mathematics application, emphasizing the overall cognition of mathematics, and inheriting mathematical culture. This article aims to provide historical reference and theoretical support for the reform of modern mathematics education and promote the innovative development of mathematics education.
