Abstract
A report published in Nature warns that deep funding cuts to international aid for severe malnutrition in children under 5 could result in 369,000 additional deaths annually. The United States' reduction in aid is a significant factor in this crisis, with nearly half of the projected deaths attributed to this loss of support. Aid organizations worldwide are facing disruptions in supplies of ready-to-use therapeutic foods, impacting treatment for severely malnourished children. [Extracted from the article]
