Abstract
A judge has lifted travel restrictions on Stewart Rhodes, founder of the Oath Keepers extremist group, and seven co-defendants convicted of felony crimes related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol. The US Justice Department intervened on their behalf, arguing that Trump's commutations covered the entirety of their sentences. The judge's decision allows them to visit Washington and the Capitol complex, following uncertainty over the scope of Trump's clemency order. Some legal experts have criticized the mass clemency, but the judge deemed it a "reasonable" interpretation. [Extracted from the article]
