ETHIOPIA : Amhara Rebellion.

Abstract

The article provides updates on various conflicts in Ethiopia. In the Amhara region, fighting between the rebel militia group Fano and the army has been reported in multiple zones, with towns being captured and heavy battles taking place. In the Tigray region, the demobilization of ex-combatants has been announced, but challenges remain in the implementation of the peace deal. In the Oromia region, ongoing fighting between the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) and the Ethiopian army has intensified, with casualties reported on both sides. Additionally, the former president of the Somali region has been released from prison after five years, and clashes and attacks have occurred in the Gambella region, resulting in numerous casualties.
