Abstract
The article explores the Court-packing Plan proposed by then U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Topics discussed include the plan to increase the number of justices in the U.S. Supreme Court, the connection of this legislative initiative to the New Deal economic programs of Roosevelt, and the failure of Roosevelt to earn the support from the majority of the U.S. Congress.
