Abstract
The Bletchley Park Naval Section played a crucial role in tracking enemy ships during World War II. This article focuses on an index card that was part of the Japanese warships index card collection, specifically on the Japanese cruiser Haguro. The index card was updated with information from deciphered Japanese messages, allowing Bletchley Park to follow the movements of the enemy fleet in real-time. The article also mentions that Bletchley Park currently holds just under 100,000 index cards, including ones on German networks and Italian vessels. The Haguro index card is currently on display at the Intelligence Factory exhibition at Bletchley Park. [Extracted from the article]
