Abstract

The article outlines ongoing efforts to locate memorabilia and trace the families of New Zealanders who served in RAF 50 and 61 Squadrons at Skellingthorpe during the Second World War. Topics include the research project's goal of recovering logbooks and photographs; a detailed listing of New Zealand servicemen who flew with 50 Squadron, including those in Hampden bombers; and the preservation of historical records to honour their wartime contributions.
