Abstract
The article discusses the emergence of power ships as floating power plants that generate electricity at sea and connect to national grids. Karadeniz Holding, known as Karpowership, has been producing and leasing power ships to countries with high energy demands since 2009. The article highlights the geopolitical implications of these power ships, their role in addressing electricity crises, and their impact on global energy infrastructure. Additionally, it explores the expansion of Turkish investment in Africa's energy sector and the challenges and criticisms faced by Karpowership projects in various countries.
