BLUME Haiti: Forging a Solid Bond with Potential Musicians through Cello.

This article focuses on Janet Anthony’s work as a cellist, educator, and founder of Building Leaders Using Music Education in Haiti, Inc. (BLUME Haiti), an organization established after the 2010 earthquake to support music education and leadership development across Haiti. BLUME Haiti collaborates with partner schools in all ten Haitian departments, providing scholarships, instrument repair training, and pedagogical support to nurture young musicians who often become professional artists and community leaders both in Haiti and abroad.
