Abstract
Jake Xerxes Fussell is a singer, guitarist, and song collector who grew up in a household filled with musicians and artists. He was exposed to traditional music from a young age and learned from renowned musicians in the region. Fussell's new album, When I'm Called, pays homage to his mentor, Art Rosenbaum, and features songs that he discovered through Rosenbaum's work. The album is a gentle and acoustic collection that showcases Fussell's burred vocals and guitar skills. [Extracted from the article]
