Abstract
Bonnie Trash is a band formed by twin sisters Sara and Emma Bortolon-Vettor, who deliver gothic rock'n'roll inspired by grief and love. Their music is influenced by black metal, brooding gothic rock, and NIN-like electronica, with themes drawn from real-life horror, folklore, and supernatural occurrences. The sisters' grandmother, Nonna Maria, played a significant role in shaping their music, and their latest album, Mourning You, pays tribute to her stories and memories. The band's sound is characterized by improvisational guitar parts and heavy rock music, with a raw and atmospheric darkness reminiscent of Black Sabbath's seminal debut album.
