Abstract
This article from Guitar World discusses the rise and fall of the Pat Travers Band, a Canadian-born virtuoso who achieved success in the 1970s. Travers initially found success in England with his blues rock sound, but as the music scene changed, he decided to focus on the United States. The band experienced success with their album "Heat in the Street" and the hit single "Snortin' Whiskey," but internal conflicts and management issues led to their downfall. Travers reflects on his experiences in the music industry and the guitar scene in London during the 1970s. [Extracted from the article]
