Abstract

The article provides a detailed overview of Fusion 7, a progressive music festival held at Stourport Civic Centre from March 6–8, 2026, highlighting performances by a diverse lineup of progressive rock and jazz-influenced bands. Notable acts included Pure Reason Revolution celebrating their debut album, The Tangent’s rare UK appearance, and international groups such as Mexico’s Alpha Lighting System and France’s Oddleaf. The festival showcased a range of styles from folk-tinged prog and cabaret prog to heavy psychedelia, with many bands receiving enthusiastic audience responses despite occasional technical difficulties. Organiser Steve Gould’s longstanding support for progressive live music is credited with the event’s success and strong community atmosphere. [Extracted from the article]
