Abstract

In 1999, Lauryn Hill achieved solo success with her debut album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill," which combined rap and R&B music. The album sold 5 million copies and earned her five Grammy awards, including album of the year and best new artist. Hill's journey to stardom began with her childhood fascination with the musical Annie, and she credits divine inspiration for her accomplishments. [Extracted from the article]
