Abstract
Researchers at Fujian Medical University conducted a study on the effects of Mozart-Orff parent-child music therapy on preschool children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their mothers. The study compared the outcomes of children receiving music therapy and applied behavior analysis (ABA) to those receiving only ABA. Results showed that children in the music therapy group exhibited lower ASD symptoms, while mothers showed reduced stress, improved parent-child interaction, and enhanced family functioning. The study suggests that combining music therapy with ABA can be beneficial in alleviating ASD symptoms and reducing stress in mothers. [Extracted from the article]
