Abstract

Abe Lagrimas, Jr. is a jazz drummer, vibraphonist, and ukulele player from Hawaii. He grew up in a musical family and started playing the drums at a young age. Lagrimas was influenced by both rock and Hawaiian music, and he eventually studied music at Berklee College of Music. He has a deep connection to the aloha spirit and incorporates elements of Hawaiian music into his compositions. Lagrimas is also dedicated to promoting Asian American and Pacific Islander music and is involved in various music education initiatives in Hawaii.
