Abstract

The integration of electronic instruments and virtual reality (VR) technology has brought revolutionary changes to the music industry. This article delves into the design research of this fusion phenomenon, aiming to propose an innovative and practical design solution to promote innovation and development in music creation, education, and performance. The study first outlined the basic principles and classifications of electronic musical instruments, as well as the basic principles and applications of virtual reality technology. It analysed the trend of the integration of electronic musical instruments and virtual reality technology, and its potential impact on the music field. Subsequently, based on the design principles of prioritizing user experience, technical feasibility, and combining innovation and practicality, this article elaborates in detail on a design scheme that integrates electronic musical instruments with virtual reality technology. This scheme achieves free interaction between performers and instruments in a virtual environment by using mature VR technology and related equipment, combined with electronic synthesizers with rich timbres. At the same time, the plan also focuses on optimizing interaction design to enhance the overall user experience. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
