Abstract

This article focuses on the 50th anniversary Super Deluxe reissue of Pink Floyd's 1975 album *Wish You Were Here*, released by Pink Floyd Music and Sony. The package includes four LPs, two CDs, and a Blu-ray disc featuring the 2016 James Guthrie remix/remaster, outtakes, demos, and a rare live recording from Wembley in 1974. The Blu-ray offers multiple high-resolution mixes, including a new Atmos mix, the original stereo, and a 1976 Quad mix, alongside restored footage and a remastered bootleg of a 1975 concert. Accompanying the music is a 64-page hardcover book detailing the album’s creation, the band’s 1975 tour, and the poignant visit of founding member Syd Barrett, as well as reproductions of memorabilia from the era. This comprehensive set highlights Pink Floyd’s multimedia artistry and provides both historical context and enhanced audio-visual experiences for fans and researchers. [Extracted from the article]
