Abstract

The article focuses on the participation of the Transcultural Nursing Society (TCNS) at the 70th Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70) in March 2026. A delegation of 20 TCNS members represented and advocated for women's health, human rights, and social justice, emphasizing the disproportionate risks faced by women from marginalized and culturally diverse communities due to intersecting social, political, economic, and environmental challenges. The presence of transcultural nurses highlighted the importance of culturally congruent care and health equity in addressing global health threats. Their engagement in policy discussions and advocacy underscored the critical role of nurses in advancing gender equality and sustainable solutions for women's health worldwide.
