Abstract
The article focuses on research conducted at the University of West Georgia regarding the experiences of prelicensure nursing students with learning disabilities in clinical settings. The study, which utilized descriptive phenomenology as its framework, involved interviews with 11 students and identified three main themes: Challenges, Student Recommendations, and Supportive Practices. The findings highlight the need for further research to reduce the stigmatization of learning disabilities in nursing and to establish guidelines for clinical accommodations to enhance student success. Financial support for the research was provided by the NLN Foundation Nursing Education Scholarship. [Extracted from the article]
