Abstract

Forensic nurse examiners work with survivors of sexual assault, providing sensitive and non-judgemental support. Working alongside crisis workers, we listen carefully to our patients, showing compassion and empathy, while also advocating for and empowering them so they can regain control and rebuild self-esteem.
