Abstract
The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department in Tamil Nadu will be offering complimentary spiced buttermilk to devotees in 48 temples to help them stay hydrated during the hot weather. The initiative, called 'Neer Mor', aims to quench the thirst of devotees visiting the temples. The Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, P. K. Sekar Babu, has announced plans to expand the program to more temples in the state. This move is seen by some as an attempt by the DMK party to improve their image and appeal to the Hindu community ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. [Extracted from the article]
