Abstract
This article discusses the importance of investigating and patch testing personal products in cases of severe allergic contact dermatitis (ACD). The case study presented involves a 39-year-old man who developed a severe bullous eruption on his feet after using various antifungal creams. Patch testing revealed a strong reaction to a specific antifungal cream containing botanical ingredients. The article emphasizes the benefits of testing personal products, including identifying rare allergens and improving patient understanding of reaction relevance. The authors recommend further testing with individual ingredients if increasing exposure to botanicals is suspected. [Extracted from the article]
