Abstract

The article offers information on palopegteriparatide, a prodrug of teriparatide, a parathyroid hormone analog. Palopegteriparatide is used for the treatment of hypoparathyroidism in adults. It has not been studied for acute post-surgical hypoparathyroidism. Also mentioned are its dosage and administration, common adverse effects and drug interactions.
