Abstract
The article focuses on the development of a functional almond milk beverage fermented with probiotic bacteria. A correction was issued to replace Lactiplantibacillus brevis with Lactiplantibacillus pentosus in both the article title and the introduction, clarifying that the beverage was produced using Lactiplantibacillus plantarum and Lactiplantibacillus pentosus as starter cultures. The study aims to create a vegan probiotic alternative to dairy products for the vegan market.
