Abstract
The article focuses on several experimental studies investigating the histological effects of various substances on animal tissues. One study demonstrated that zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) induced hepatotoxicity and degenerative changes in rat liver tissue, which were ameliorated by co-treatment with Resveratrol, restoring glycogen content and reducing hepatocyte necrosis. Another study examined the cardiotoxic effects of chronic Red Bull consumption in adult male albino rats, revealing histopathological alterations such as disrupted cardiac muscle fibers, increased collagen deposition, and inflammatory infiltration. Additionally, research on repeated acidic saline injections in rats showed structural and morphometric changes in the hippocampal dentate gyrus, associated with neuronal damage and astrocyte activation. These findings contribute to understanding the tissue-specific toxicological impacts of nanoparticles, energy drinks, and induced muscle pain models in rodents.
