Abstract
This article focuses on the unresolved Tylenol murders of 1982, in which seven people in the Chicago area died after ingesting cyanide-laced Tylenol capsules. James W. Lewis, the main suspect for over 40 years due to an extortion letter sent to Johnson & Johnson, denies involvement and was never charged with murder because of lack of forensic evidence and an alibi placing him out of the area. The Netflix documentary *Cold Case: The Tylenol Murders* explores the case comprehensively, including alternative theories such as possible contamination at Johnson & Johnson's production facilities, which the company denies. The case remains cold due to lost evidence and limited leads, and the filmmakers hope the series will prompt new information or investigations.
