Abstract
NASA is launching the Europa Clipper spacecraft on a 5½-year journey to Jupiter's moon Europa to explore the possibility of life. Europa has intrigued scientists since the 1970s, with evidence suggesting the presence of a global ocean beneath its icy surface. The spacecraft is equipped with nine instruments to assess the moon's environment and potential for supporting life. It will investigate the thickness and composition of the icy crust, search for plumes of water vapor, and analyze the depth and habitability of the ocean. The mission is set to arrive at Jupiter in 2030 for at least four years of operation. [Extracted from the article]
