Abstract

High-momentum components of wave functions and two-nucleon short-range correlations (SRC) for the lightest nuclei with A = 3 are studied within the dibaryon model for 2 N and 3 N forces. This model accounts for a possibility of an intermediate six-quark (dibaryon) state formation in the two-nucleon system at short distances. The one- and two-nucleon momentum distributions for 3He and 3H nuclei are compared with those resulting from the widely-used realistic model for nuclear forces. The results obtained are interpreted in view of the recent inclusive (e , e ′) and semi-inclusive (e , e ′ p) experiments. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
