Abstract
In this paper, we introduce an innovative intelligent LCD color calibration method that utilizes a Lookup Table (LUT) derived from process parameters or specifications of key LCD components. Our method significantly enhances the white color coordinate difference area by 46.6% in CIE 1931, achieved by incorporating only LED color ranks into the LUT. Compared to current LCD color calibration methods, this approach eliminates the need for additional color measurement equipment investment. It has minimal impact on production tact time and seamlessly integrates with existing industry equipment, making it a potential solution to notably improve the overall color difference performance in the LCD industry.
