Abstract

The article discusses the Philips Sleep Headphones, which claim to help users fall asleep quickly and improve the quality of their sleep. Designed by Kokoon Technology in collaboration with Philips, these ultra-thin earbuds feature a built-in biosensor that tracks sleep patterns and can automatically fade out audio when the user falls asleep. The earbuds can be paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth and used as standard headphones, but to access the sleep-tracking features, a subscription to the Kokoon app is required. The app offers a variety of ambient sounds, music, meditation exercises, and sleep coaching sessions. However, some users may find the earbuds uncomfortable, especially when sleeping on their side. Overall, while the headphones may not be a cure for insomnia, they may be helpful for some individuals. [Extracted from the article]
