Suzaku spectral analysis of an X-ray emitting plasma in the supernova remnant G352.7−0.1.

Abstract
This article presents the results of Suzaku X-ray observations and spectral analysis of the supernova remnant (SNR) G352.7−0.1. The study identifies emission lines from aluminum (Al) at 1.6 keV, iron (Fe) at 6.45 keV, and a marginal detection of chromium (Cr) at 5.52 keV, modeling the X-ray spectrum with a two-component ionizing plasma having distinct temperatures and ionization timescales. The spectral features, particularly the Fe and Cr lines, along with elemental abundances, support the classification of G352.7−0.1 as a Type Ia supernova remnant rather than a core-collapse origin. The detection of Al emission suggests enrichment of the surrounding circumstellar matter, possibly from earlier core-collapse supernovae in the Galactic inner region where G352.7−0.1 is located.
