Abstract

AARP has created initiatives to help older adults understand and navigate artificial intelligence (AI). They have developed a website with videos, quizzes, and articles to educate people about AI's potential uses and ethical issues. AARP's Senior Planet program offers in-person and virtual classes on AI literacy, including topics like everyday uses of AI and creating AI-generated artistic images. AARP also plans to publish a book on AI and is actively addressing AI fraud through articles and collaboration with the News Literacy Project. Their goal is to keep people informed about AI's promise and perils. [Extracted from the article]
