Nation Needs Meaningful Risk Reduction.

The author explores the challenges that remain in supplying drinking water for all, 50 years after the enactment of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) in the U.S. Cited are the success of failure of the SDWA in maintaining public confidence in the nation's water supply, whether current implementation of the SWDA is truly targeting health risk reduction, and the inability of additional federal funding in maintaining safe, sustainable, and compliant water system infrastructure for the country.
