Abstract
A study conducted by researchers at Massey University in New Zealand explores the experiences of in-work poverty and government policy responses in the context of socioeconomically marginalized groups, including the Maori precariat class. The study found that current policies do not adequately address the relational nature of poverty and often cancel out potentially positive impacts on poverty reduction. The researchers offer recommendations for addressing participant concerns. This research provides valuable insights into the lived experiences of in-work poverty and the need for more effective policy responses. [Extracted from the article]
