Abstract
The article discusses the influential role of German philosopher Jürgen Habermas in shaping public opinion and political culture in Germany over the past six decades. It highlights Habermas's ability to adapt to different eras and his commitment to open dialogue and forming public opinion. The article also explores Habermas's changing relationship with German public opinion, particularly in light of his views on the Russia-Ukraine war. It examines Habermas's contributions to political theory, including his ideas on the public sphere, constitutional patriotism, and European integration.
