Abstract

Michelle O'Neill, a member of Sinn Féin, made history by becoming the first Irish nationalist First Minister in Northern Ireland. This reflects a wave of generational change in Ireland and presents an opportunity for unity and success. O'Neill's leadership skills, ability to listen and understand others, and commitment to inclusivity make a real difference. She is determined to leave behind the failed politics of sectarianism, inequality, and exclusion, and has been true to her promise of being a "First Minister for all." [Extracted from the article]
