Rosalynn Carter, the former US First Lady, has passed away at the age of 96. She was known for her activism and groundbreaking role as a first lady, attending her husband's Cabinet meetings and leading efforts to improve care for the mentally ill. Carter was also a champion for equal rights and opportunities for women and girls, as well as an advocate for mental health and wellness.
