Abstract

This article focuses on research from Aksaray University in Turkiye examining how emotional intelligence influences teachers' creative teaching through reflective practice, with teacher autonomy acting as a moderating factor. The study surveyed 690 teachers across 78 schools in 24 Turkish cities, using validated scales and multilevel structural equation modeling to analyze the relationships among emotional intelligence, reflective teaching, creative teaching, and autonomy. Findings indicate that emotional intelligence indirectly promotes creative teaching via reflective teaching, and this effect is strengthened when teachers experience greater autonomy. The research suggests that enhancing teachers' emotional skills, reflective capacities, and autonomy may foster more innovative instructional practices and improve learning outcomes.
