Abstract
The article reports on an Indigenous scholar's exploration of matriarchal worlding and Indigenous feminist writing within the context of Western-centric academia. Topics include matriarchal worlding as a response to colonial academic norms, the role of Indigenous women's literatures in decolonial feminism, and the use of storytelling as a tool for community building and cultural resurgence.
